Grammar

Gerunds and infinitives  come from verb forms but fuction as nouns.
A gerund or an infinitive can be a direct  object of a verb.

Gerund=an-ing form of a verb                   infinitive= to + a base form
she enjoys painting.                                   He wants to paint the kitchen yellow.

Use a gerund the following verbs: avoid, discuss, dislike, don´t nmind, enjoy, feel like, quit, suggest.

Use an infinitive after the folliwing verbs: agree, be sure, choose, decide, expect, hope, learn, need, plan, seem, want, wish, would like.

Other verbs can be followed by euther a gerund or an infinitive:begin, can´t stand, continue, hate, like, love, prefer, start.

Rules

Reglamento interno del centro de idiomas.

1.- Asistencia y retardos.

• Enfermedades del alumno, solo si se entrega una receta del Dr. Aceves (Doctor de la institución), no se aceptan recetas de otros doctores.

• Fallecimiento de un familiar. El grupo entero no podrá faltar a clases.

• Emergencias comprobables. Solo en casos especiales.

2.- Con base al reglamento escolar, el alumno deberá asistir el 80% de las clases para tener derecho a exámenes.

• El alumno no tendrá derecho a examen si tiene 3 faltas injustificadas en una unidad.

• El alumno no tendrá derecho a examen global final si acumula 8 faltas injustificadas en ese periodo.

• Los exámenes serán aplicados únicamente los días señalados por la maestra.

• Los alumnos que participen en actividades extra-escolares deberán presentar un oficio firmado por el maestro encargado con la lista de los alumnos que no asistirán a clases para participar en dicho evento. Debe de entregar el documento antes del evento.

• Si el alumno no cumple con el 80% de asistencia, no tendrá derecho a exámenes de regularización. Reprobara el curso.

• Cuando el alumno tenga dos exámenes parciales reprobados, no pasara de nivel ya que no tendrá derecho a examen de regularización.

• Los alumnos que asistan a clases con condiciones especiales, es indispensable una estricta asistencia para poder pasar de nivel.

3.- Sera considerado retardo.

• 5 minutos después de la hora.

• 3 retardos equivalen a una falta. No justifica el retardo si el maestro de la clase anterior los detiene después de la hora.

• El alumno tiene derecho a reportar a la maestra que llegue tarde.

 Reglas del salon.

Contar con el libro de texto,  puntualidad no usar gorra, apagar celulares, no masticar chicles, solo 2 faltas por unidad, hablar ingles dentro del aula,  y centro, no salir del aula durante la clase y entregar hoja de trabajo  y tareas asignadas para presentar examen por unidad.

I'm interested to be part of this English 6 February-June semester, you know that I’m person than strives to get to meet your goals,  sincere, and hard working.

Letting you know that my previous knowledge of English I had in the past semesters, like how to establish friendly connections with my classmates, speaking the things I learn last semester by the practice we did with the classmates. I also learned the present, past and participle for most of the verbs, among other stuff.

I want the English to be part of my life being this the last semester of my career.  I want to learn all that I can.
